The Research On A DFD Editor Based On Multi-Versions In A Software Project Management System

Software Engineering and Project Management is a mature and profound subject. In lots of factors that relate to the success or failure of the project, software measurement, workload estimate, project program, progress control, requirement changes and risk management are the factors that directly relate to the software project management. Perfect software management is the trump to realize the industrialization of the software. In the software procedure management, requirement analysis is the foundation and headstream of the whole work. There should be plenty and convenient communications between designers, team leaders and clients when performing requirement analysis. For example, the design and finally determination of the DFD needs different extent participation of the designers, team leaders and clients. The CASE software ought to provide convenient environment for these participation. The paper brings forward a set of integrated software study management. Most end users are research manager, project manager, software developer, testing personnel and quality manager etc. The study starts with nowadays'lacking of the realtime synchronized communication tools which is convenient and be able to perfectly solve conflict. Take the DFD editing system for example, we put forward a multi-version method to solve the conflict problem in DFD synchronizing cooperative system for the first time. This enables us to make a perfect scheme to solve synchronized multi-person cooperation in the process of DFD modeling. Because all persons'intention have been perfectly reserved by using the multi-versions method in the DFD rendering module, every designers'intention can be expressed fully. When the clients communicate with the designers, or there is cooperation between designers, parts of the people won't lost his/her designing inclination and suggestion because of a conflict on a same question. Based upon the paper's theory, we exploit a software project management system. The CSCW DFD model based on multi-versions is the characteristic of the system.
