Since science and technology is getting developed and human beings' life is improving, our requests to the medical examination and test are also being raised up step by step. The Electroencephalogram (EEG) System plays an important role in clinical diagnoses as an important medical device for examining and testing cerebral diseases. But the traditional EEG system records only the changing procedure of the brain signals in a single way without any processing. As biology cybernetics Method has become the important method for the brain research, the importance of the EEG information processing is also more and more obvious. On the basic medicine, EEG comprehensively reflects the activities of the nerve system; therefore, the research on it facilitates a deep discussion on the nerve mechanism in physiological and pharmaceutical activities. On the clinical medicine, the EEG signal processing offers not only the objective evidences for the diagnosis of some brain diseases but also effective therapeutical methods. The EEG information processing is of important academic value and broad future of application in the research of psychology, psychiatry and cognition. This article mainly introduces the present situation of the EEG system and the analytical method of the EEG signals. It offers the signal processing to the EEG signals by means of the relative theories and technology of digital signal processing.
