With the development and maturity of Java and J2EE technologies, the finance industry of our country adopts J2EE as its application development platform after evaluating the J2EE technology strictly. This thesis is based on a project named Credit Management Information System, which is the critical part of National Bank of Communication's "All-in-one" project. We introduce the Loan Management subsystem and Java, J2EE and Struts framework which are used for the project. This thesis starts with analyzing the project requirement, gives out the design to meet the project requirement, and then solves the problem with J2EE framework. This project depends on workflow. Every job in the system has to follow its own strict flow. With the work flow technologies we implement the bank's operation flow. The work flow is easy to modify, so that it can adapt itself to the future change of operation flow. Additionally, we uses Struts framework technology which implements MVC design pattern. The J2EE web development based on Struts can benefit from MVC design pattern. All of them guarantee success for the project. The loan flow we design and implement in this paper is a kind of extension of J2EE development. It combines Struts with work flow, and implements the position-based business logic. It can be absolutely applied in similar requirement.
