Next generation Internet has many characteristics, such as mobility, heterogenerous and so on. The combination of wireless and Internet constitutes Mobile Internet. As a micro-mobility management protocol, Proxy Mobile IPv6 implements mobility management in software style so as to ensure users'IP communications in the roaming coverage.Proxy Mobile IPv6 manages the network based on the domain. When Mobile Node roams in a management domain, its state is stored and controlled by the network functional entities, LMA and MAG. The LMA is the single bottleneck due to its function of controlling and traffic forwarding in the domain, so multiple LMAs may deploy in the PMIPv6 domain. The multiple LMAs'environment brings new problem to the protocol. This paper will focus on how to run the protocol effectively in the multiple LMAs'environment. The main work and innovations are as follows:Due to the lack of the efficient mechanism to collabrate multiple LMAs in the PMIPv6 Domain, the paper proposes a distributed strategic framework to collaborate LMAs'control function based on LMAs sharing the running context information. Meanwhile, based on the original protocol procedure, a policy algorithm of the initial LMA selection process is introduced by expanding the policy funcion on the LMA entity for load balance. The aim of our scheme is to improve the registration efficiency and the system adaptability.The PMIPv6 demonstrate system is implemented. The demonstration of the system explains the feasibility of the protocol and the proposed strategic framework. The system also verifies the adaptability of the LMA selection policy algorithm.As a common AAA protocol, the Diameter protocol has an important feature that supports the proxy entity, so it can be a good agreement with the PMIPv6 even if multiple LMAs'environment. Based on the proposed multiple LMAs'strategic framework, the paper combines the Diameter protocol with PMIPv6 through reusing historical authentical information to optimize the authenticaion. The scheme can increase the authentication efficiency and reduce authentication costs.
