Contour generating using Triangular mesh has two problems: First, all the equivalent points are at the edge of the triangular grid , we can not handle small closed contour within a triangle, and when encounter degenerated points , the contour lines become difficult to track. Second, the triangular mesh contour generation method is determined by tracking all the equivalent point, connect them into a line, then smoothing it into a smooth curve, no considered the original surface in this process, leading to the smooth contours has no better fit to the original surface. The triangle mesh subdivision with good geometric adaptability to a good reproduction of the original surface geometry, and can control the sub- iteration to control the density degree of triangular mesh , which can handle in the grid A small closed contour , to avoid experiencing degradation , enabling the smooth contour can post a good fit with the host surface.Firstly, the existing triangular mesh subdivision scheme on a detailed analysis of time and space from the algorithm complexity, operational stability , the continuity of subdivision surfaces , the approximation with the host surface and application of other aspects of the induction Summary, Finally adopted a widely used Loop subdivision scheme, considering the mesh density control, eliminating the small grid in the closed contours omissions. Finally, Finally, using Bezier function method generate a smooth contour.Experimental Prototype adopt VC6.0 + OpenInventor development environment, in the three-dimensional display module provides a variety of convenient and practical mode of operation , easy observation of experimental results.
