Research On Trust Management In Military Grid

The military grid is a new technology about integrating the military information systems. The core of the military grid is a huge software system distributed in military information network. It carries on effective amalgamation of all the soft hard resources and shares all resources based on the facility. While the military grid sharpens the whole operational capacity, it has brought the new security problems. The research is mainly about how to apply trust management in the military grid. The main work is as follows:Firstly, based on the certificate-based trust management and the behavior-based trust management, a trust management frame for the military grid is proposed. The main idea is carrying on the behavior-based trust management on the foundation of the identity trust, which is well adapted to dynamic change characteristic in the military grid.Secondly, a trust computation model based on the reputation for the military grid is proposed. The main isea is setting a trust agent in each domain which manages the trust value of entities. Compared with the traditional completely centralized trust computation model, it is more suitable for dynamic change characteristic.Thirdly, a new method for computing direct trust value is proposed based on extenics. Compared with the method of Beth, it can evaluate trust relation between entities comprehensively and objectively.Finally, an advanced gossip algorithm is proposed to collect reputation in grid environment.
