Automatic object detection and tracking in image is the key technology of the precisely guided weapons, which need to be sloved urgently in the world. It also is an active field in image processing.Mean shift is an effective iterative algorithm widely used in clustering,tracking,segmentation,discontinuity preserving smoothing,filtering,edge detection ,and information fusion etc. In this paper, the theory, algorithm, and experiment of automatic object detection and tracking are studied in depth. Objects recognition and tracking is task-dependent. According to deiierent applications, the corresponding algorithm will be seclected. In order to solve how to detect objects, the method based on mean shift algorithm is studied in the paper. The program of above mentioned is coded by using matlab, experimented results are given. Then the way to object tracking is rised up, and it is also coded by using VC++6.0 ,analysis is made. The results show that the method can effectively track moving targets. Important theory and technical support are procided for the precisely guided weapons baded on automatic object detection and tracking in image. |
