Design And Study Of Ontology-based Automatic Question Answering System Based On Networks

With the popularization of the distance education on Internet,answering questions of distance learning becomes one of the focuses that people pay close attention to.But in distance education,student can't communicate with teacher directly,so the questions about the course cann't be answered in time because of lacking of personalized teachers and the learning efficiency cann't be improved easily.Efficiency Q & A has become an more important problem.The answering methods based on BBS and Email overly depend on the teachers ,so the teachers always cann't stand as the number of students increased quickly. Intelligent Question Answering will be and must be a very promising method to solve the problem and it becomes an hot point in the area of distance education because of the strong ability of reuse and fast process of mass data storage. Under this circumstances,this paper ,by using comprehensive FAQ and document database technology,aims to develop a network-based intelligent question answering system.which enjoys high math ratio and multiple enquiring methods. The thesis's work includes:(1) This thesis aims to develop the system by using FAQ together with document database technology. Using FAQ to answer the common questions to ensure the accuracy and high efficiency;using document database technology to answer uncommon questions to improve the recall of the system.(2)Take Computer Basic as example, the thesis creates a knowledge ontology based on the course and then describes the ontology by using owl to make easy for further management ,as the basement of the system.(3) The thesis achieves Intelligent Question Answering based on semantic with the help of the ontology.Firtly,it can limit the scope of the query by using the domain knowledge.Secondly, it is helpful to query the associated answers to ensure the the recall of the system by model the relations between concepts. (4) Accomplish the question answering system by using J2EE framework to validate the design strategy and program.
