With the embedded system widely used in the post-PC era, on the one hand, the security of embedded system has caughed people's great attention. On the other hand, multi-core has become an important trend in the embedded system. The RTEMS, as a good embedded real-time operating system, plays an important role in aerospace and other fields. How to improve the security of the RTEMS embedded system, and make full use of FPGA hardware platform to adopt a efficient embedded system booting means will be significant for RTEMS embedded system.In this paper, the IP soft core design technology has been introduced firstly based on the SOC and embedded system characteristics. In the comparison of several embedded real-time operating system performance, the resons of selecting RTEMS embedded operating system have been provided. In the analysis of current domestic authentication techniques, a dynamic authentication mechanism based on RTEMS embedded systems has been proposed.Secondly, the building of RTEMS quad-core embedded systems platform has been described, including the design and implementation of hardware platform and software platform. On the hardware platform, the FPGA configuration and verification of LEON3 quad-core System based on the SPARC architecture have been introduced. On the software platform, the method to build RTEMS cross compiler tool chain and the compilation of RTEMS kernel have been introduced. Then, the rationality of the entire multi-core platform by RTEMS application has been tested.Thirdly, the dynamic password authentication has been focused based on the event-based synchronization mechanism, including the detailed design of the client and the authentication server. Then the method to build the log system has been analyzed based on the RTEMS embedded systems, which improve the security of RTEMS embedded system.Finally, based on the System ACE configuration, a method of seting from the CF card with FPGA configuration bit stream file and bootloading RTEMS kernel have been provided, which greatly improve the flexibility and the easy of use of RTEMS embedded systems.
