The moisture content testing system of this article is based on the premise of building energy-saving, to provide an important parameter - the moisture content of the building envelope thermal performance for the construction sector. It is an important part of revising its thermal properties to accurately measure the moisture content along the depth direction of retaining structure.Based on the existing uniplanar scattering-field capacitive sensor using for measuring the moisture content of envelope structure, in order to overcome human error causing by the replacement of the probe and the operation , this paper designs a planar capacitive type sensor with multi-polar. Taking simulations and experiments into account, and considering the convenience of carrying, we optimize the sensor size.In the process of sensor using, in order to avoid the different degree of close contact with measured envelope plane and the different deformation of the sensor caused by the inconsistent hand pressure making the impact on test accuracy, the hand-held part of the sensor uses the integrated load cell to monitor the load size as the start signal of a data acquisition. The sensor system uses tomography to calculate moisture content along the vertical distribution. As the integrated sensors have a different sensitivity of moisture content distribution, this paper re-establishes stratification schemes of envelope by experiments, and fits experimental data to obtain the functional relation of the affection that different levels'moisture to different plate combinations, and establishes of calculation model used to calculate moisture content. Verification experiment results show that the integrated sensor and the test method are better repeatable.
