Design And Implementation Of Reference Model Management System Based On Integrated Enterprise Modeling Method

Enterprise modeling technology has been considered playing a very important role in variety of information systems which are used to support enterprise management. However, for the sake of enterprise modeling in low cost, high quality, short period and high efficiency, how to conserve and effectively reuse the model knowledge contained in enterprise models is widely concerned. Enterprise reference model, which is a higher abstract level model than the specific enterprise model, has been treasuring by the academic field。Enterprise reference model is developed by abstracting common characteristics from a couple of enterprise models and can be considered as the template of enterprise models. On one hand, it is able to effectively conserve enterprise knowledge and modeling knowledge gained from the process of modeling. On the other hand, it also is the guide and basement of the enterprise model, which can achieve quickly and magnificently modeling. This thesis focuses on the research in diversified aspects of enterprise reference management, especially in reference modeling theory and reference model management system developing。The main contributions of this thesis are as follows:1. The structure of reference model and its multiple views and the relationship among the views were proposed. The knowledge view and the service view which were not in the original integrated enterprise model were also involved and the basic structure of the knowledge view was presented as well.2. The modeling method of reference model was proposed and focusing on poor efficiency in modeling because of the lack of computer assistance, this thesis built a computer assistant modeling method in process reference modeling based on merging exist process models, which was validated effectively risen modeling efficiency.3. The attribute groups and corresponding attributes belonging to each group were designed to depict the reference models. The enterprise strategy analysis was involved in modeling classification which helped classify reference models and model components. Then, the searching method from reference model database based on keywords and calculation by weighting attribute value was presented.4. Facing the model application facet, the paper designed the XML Schema for mapping reference model attribute groups to XML documents and exemplified the way of mapping a reference model to a XML document. On the other hand, the procedure and operation of configured a reference model to a specific enterprise model was also proposed.5. Finally, based on the research above, the thesis showed a reference model management system. The system fulfilled the main functions in the lifecycle of reference model.
