The automatic test technology's development is continuously promoting the integration of automatic test system and fault diagnosis system. The traditional and step-by-step test process will be replaced with a novel method which orients to more explicit requirements and more flexible configuration. The technology of test flow's automatic generation which oriented fault diagnosis was studied, and some appropriate methods were proposed in this thesis.Firstly, a modeling method which based on the logic relationship among the signals and fault modes in a single component was studied. This method could decrese the scale and complexity of the modeling by apportioned the system's complexity to every single component. Then, combined with generic algorithm the testability analysis and design technology was studied and a method to calculate the fault detection rate and fault isolation was proposed. By simulation, the conclution achived the optimized test point configuration scheme.Continuously, the fault isolating algorithm was taken into account, and for validating the algorithm, an event-respose based action model of the system was discussed to support the fault simulation. The test flow optimization technique which based on state space searching was taken into resarch for minmizing the test procedure. We tried to find the optimized answer from a finite test flow schema set.In the end, the problem of how to carry out the test flow's aotumatic generation was discussed, and a project example was designed to prove that the methods which were studied in the thesis satisfied the practical requirments and it could improve the work efficiency of the automatic test.
