Multivariable decoupling control of the field problem is an important issue in recent years with the rapid development of advanced manufacturing technology, more and more of the production process is constructed for high-dimensional variable system.As for multivariable control problems, we mainly divide the system into two types. If the number of input and output dimensions are equal, we call it square system. If the number of input and output dimensions are not equal, we call it non-square system.As one of the effective advanced control strategies,the Internal Model Control (IMC) is getting more and more attention and meanwhile it is being applied into practice more widely. Lots of theoretical research and practical applications have proved multi—inputs and multi-outputs (MIMO) IMC has many advantages,such as quick response speed,easy calculation,simple design method,great robustness,nice tracking performance and stability,and so on.The results show that when dealing with the decoupling control problems of square system, we already had a good solution through decomposition of the system and the introduction of the filters. However, in many industrial processes, there exists a lot of non-square system models.When dealing with the decoupling problems of non-square system,internal model control method is still a very useful method. Commonly used is called the generalized inverse method. That is, through the decoupling controller design into the generalized inverse of the original system to achieve complete decoupling of non-square system. In the design process, due to the generalized inverse of non-square system will have right-half plane poles resulting in the system of internal instability.This issue is aimed at this point,we do some research on the poles distribution problem of the generalized inverse of non-square system. Use of some of the fundamental theorem of algebra,we get the main conclusion of poles distribution theory of the generalized inverse of non-square system.Finally, we combine some mature method of the decoupling control method for non-square system. As for decoupling control problem of non-square system, we use the method of decomposition and the introduction filters to achieve good control effect of decoupling. The results once again proved the validity and correctness of the results.
