With the growing competition in the insurance industry, the insurance companies constantly innovates their marketing channels in order to win a place in the market. From the previous single agent marketing channel mode, gradually develop into rely mainly on the agent marketing channel mode, the bank insurance marketing channel mode, the exclusive broker channel mode while other marketing channels common development to become a multiple marketing channel mode. As the channel type continues to innovation, the number of channels have continued to increase, resulting in the management issues of channel management, Commission calculation, assessment etc. have become increasingly prominent, each month, the job of accounting Commissions, do associated assessments etc. for the agent or the relevant agency become more heavy and complicate . While the traditional manual processing mode which make the staff inefficiencies, high error rate, human resources waste and other issues have seriously hindered the company's business development. In order to improve the management level of all marketing channels, to reduce the operating costs, for insurance companies need to develop a suitable management systems for multi-channel marketing model. This paper first introduced the relevant background of this subject with the research situation, following that the features and shortcomings of the current marketing channel management systems have been analyzed and discussed. On this basis, proposed a solution to design and develop a common, efficient, secure and stable system of Distribution Channel Management System (DCMS) which allows users to develop and modify the relevant administrative rules freely. Then determined the functional and non-functional requirements for the DCMS by domain analyze and modeling. After that, combined with the actual situation, determined the system's architecture, development platform, framework, development language and function modules etc. finally paper gave the details of design plans for all subsystems and parts of the core implementations for modules. The entire system adopts the object-oriented design ideas follow the high cohesion and low coupling design principles. Design the rules and parameters externalizations to achieve maximum flexibility and scalability.
