Diffraction gratings are a kind of precision optical elements, which are used in many spectrometers as a key component. At present , astrophysics and high-energy laser pulse, and other research areas for grating has reached to meter-sized. The demand for large-aperture grating increasingly urgent. Therefore, large-aperture grating manufacture is very urgent , the manufacturing of large-aperture grating is always a great task for discussion in the field of grating. An alternative is to till several small gratings into a large-aperture one. To achieve the high-precision grating splicing requirements , it is necessary to design a high-precision adjustment to the tiling installations. In the results of grating tiling at home and abroad has been made, introduced a grating tiling device with macro/micro motion mechanism that developed by Harbin Institute Of Technology and researched deeply in this grating tiling device.Firstly, an equivalent structure is set up and the degree of freedom of it is calculated. The inverse solution of position according to the equivalent construc- tion. Using matlab to simulate the inverse and realized the visualization of institutions movement. Based on the inverse kinematic,the jacobin matrix is solved to discuss the singularity form of the structure and the workspace is analyzed.Secondly, The error and the error compensation is set up as the example of the macro motion mechanism. Established a error model that based on inverse kinematics and analyzed the error distribution of error sources.Monte Carlo method is used to analyse device error and rusuled in the impact of the assembly.Aslo the impact of error sources on the dynamic grating is analyzed in this way.Then the error compensation model is established and used actual data to analyse it.Finally, The simulation of the grating tiling device which set up by Pro / ENGNIEER is used to verify the working principle of the grating tiling device, inverse kinematics and workspace. The process proves that there is no space singularity point and bars interference in the workspace.
