Isolator Dimension Online Inspection System On Image Procession

With the continuous development of the automobile industry, the technical requirement for innovation in the Isolators manufacturing is advancing to ever-higher lever. The dimensional accuracy of the car components (Parts) is important to the product quality in the final assembly. The innovation and upgrade of Part size precision detection are able to reduce the product cost and improve the product quality. Since 1950's to this day digital image processing has gotten much and broad application in the communication, video transmission, medicine, printing and dyeing industry, industry inspection and other fields.The technologies and menthes of digital image processing have also gotten deep research and development. In this paper, a size detecting system, which based on the machine vision technology and image process method has been developed. This system can be applied to the isolators'product line. The master thesis will include the following main contents:1.The research background and significance of machine vision inspecting is reviewed and then introduced the research status and development trend.2.This paper first briefly introduces some basic conceptions of digital image processing including its history, characteristic, application field and future developing direction. On this basis, design a set of image acquisition devices, including hardware configuration and the design of the image system lighting method.3.According to the request of the isolators'on-line detecting and the feature of machine vision system ,on-line detecting system of the isolators'dimension designed by using the technique of image acquisition, display, processing, which includes the motion control system design, scale system design and the system calibration. 4. Detect the Part Size bye the use of system software,and then analyze the measurement error.The success of the vision detection system raised the flexibility and automation degree of the production. Traditional detecting have a lot of defects, for example manual detecting is low efficiency, low accuracy, a great many measurements can not meet the on-line detecting requirement. This system can solve these problems and so it has a bright future.
