Exploration Robot System is designed to meet the increasing requirement of danger zone data, and to ensure personal safety as a precondition. The needed data will be sent to customer through the lower part of the system without human enter. If the lower part of the system was severely damaged when entering into danger zone, as long as the infrared receiver and the work circuit of master chip did not be destructed, it will be recalled by wireless remote control in order to reduce losses in maximum.System uses STC89C58 Singlechipas the master chip to coordinate with external hardware circuit and the sensor circuit. The lower part adopts wheel body as a carrier. Work process can be finished by automatically or be controlled by human. The initial test of hardware development mainly use software simulation platform. After theoretical and practical shaping, set up the actual hardware to trial run together. Software is divided into upper and lower machine two parts. The upper machine apply Micorsoft Corporation's software programming integrated environment Visual C++; while the software development integration environment of the lower machine is Keil 2.0. When using the serial communication part during pilot phase, due to own PC lacking serial port, use virtual serial port software to virtual out a pair of serial port.The final product formed by hardware and software's trial run together has the following features: the lower machine could detect dangerous environmental data realtimely; execute achieve data exchange of upper and lower machine with the help of wireless communication module; call background database and provide the operating instructions by operator through a friendly manmachine dialogue. The upper machine also implements a number of entertainment features such as music, film and television etc. The software and hardware in this system also adopt modular design means, reduce the coupling between software and hardware in maximum and improve system reliability. This design pattern makes a big convenience for subsequent debugging; module can be test individually one by one and finally trial run together; accelerate the system development process.
