Study Of The Ontology Evolution Based On Extension Model

The real world is changing continuously, so are content, structure, existing form of knowledge and the meaning of certain terms, etc. in it. And these changes cannot be foreseen when the ontology is establish. Thus, the data inconsistencies between the original ontology and dynamic knowledge, and the ontology can not reflect the latest knowledge. So, how to make the ontology adapt to the dynamic of the real world, and make timely adjustments according to dynamic ontology. that is, ontology evolution become one of the research hotspot.This thesis firstly introduces the theory of system design, Extenics concepts, and an overview of ontology research. Secondly, it introduces the ontology building method and building tools.There are five commonly used construction methods.We use Cyclic Acquisition Process to build the ontology. The Common ontology construction tools are Protege, Ontolingua and OntoEdit. Finally, this thesis presents Ontology Evolution Model of Complex-Element (OEMCE).OEMCE can extract knowledge from a field of related concepts, the concept of decomposition and then get the object to capture the key concepts of domain ontology, and then apply the requirements of evolutionary search algorithms to have the body and the relationship between the domain ontology, and finally through the ontology of complex element of extension transform and complex element conduction transformation to implement ontology evolution of complex elements.Taking tourism as an example, the thesis introduced the build of ontology of complex element evolution system. The system is divided into four parts:the first part, the establishment of tourism ontology hierarchy model; the second part, using complex element representation to show the level tourism ontology structure; the third part, structure of the complex element mapping to relational database storage; fourth part, the complex element ontology achieve ontology evolution.The thesis based on the OEMCE implements the ontology evolution of complex element system. Finally, the OEMCE and the extension strategy generation system are proposed and implemented ontology evolution based on the Ontology Evolution of Extension Strategy Generating System. Extension strategy generating system greatly improved by OEMCE to generated real-time strategy and accuracy. The creative work in this thesis is as follows:1.For the first time used complex element in ontology evolution and built a ontology of complex element evolution model.2.For the first time used the extension transform to solve the contradiction of ontology evolutionary process.3.First proposed the ESGS and the ontology evolution system to generate a new strategy, and ontology evolution is proposed based on the extension strategy generating system.
