There are two kinds of digital video monitoring systems,one is IP network video monitoring system,the other is optical fiber network video monitoring system.The former can easily access to IP network at the cost of the video quality.The later is a digital video monitoring system with high resolution,however it can't access by computers directly.This paper designed an image processing system,which is a set of image acquisition, compression, transmission as a whole.The system consists of the video image acquisition,image compression and network transmission.This paper describes a production company based Altera FPGA Cyelone videoimage transmission line design, implementation, including image acquisition, imagestorage and processing display, video, image transmission and related hardware and software configuration and implementation of the circuit. Video image acquisition is mainly collected by CCD camera, the analog signal output by video decoder SAA7113digital video signal; SRAM memory to store the image frames in preparation for imageprocessing, displayed on a CRT; image transmission is collected images Coding,through the network card with RTL8019 chip transmission PC, after the show.Designed to take full advantage of the FPGA and external network cards do not have their own storage equipment and other resources, can achieve real-time imagetransmission.The system is in QUARTUSâ…ˇsoftware platform to develop and run the Red Cyclone series of development boards, to achieve a complete video image transmission processing system.
