Traditional centralized telecommunications network is facing problems caused by centralized model. P2P technology,which can make full use of network resources, increase system scalability, address single point of failure, performance bottleneck and other issues which are common in the traditional model, has been widely used in the Internet. So in order to solve these problems existing in traditional centralized telecommunications network, we can implement a distributed telecommunications network by applying P2P technology to telecommunication field. However, it is necessary to verify whether this approach is feasible. The current simulation system can only simulate a specific service in Internet, and these systems do not satisfy the specific QoS indicators of telecommunication network simulation. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a P2P live streaming simulation system for distributed telecommunications network, simulating the P2P live streaming service.In this paper, we design a P2P live streaming simulation system, which is divided into two parts, global domain and the local domain. The global domain is responsible for managing all resources in system. The local domain is providing media access control for local users, which can reduce the user access delay, improve the user experience and reduce the redundant cross-domain network traffic. In this paper, we describe the detail design of the global tracker server(GTR) and local tracker server(TR).In P2P system, optimal overlay network topology can improve the efficiency of resource loacation, reduce the overhead of resource location. But there are still some problems in P2P technology, which affect building an effecitve overlay network. Therefore, aimed at how to solve the problems in P2P overlay network, such as topology mismatch, node heterogeneity and others, we propose an efficient overlay network construction strategy based on topological perception and node properties. This strategy is fully considered the node location, transmission delay between nodes and the node performance and other factors. At the same time, this strategy take corresponding measurement to process the exit and failure of node, update the list of neighbor nodes regularly, adjust the network topology dynamically to improve the system performance. Finally, we do some simulation experiments to implement and verify the strategy proposed in this paper. The simulation results show that the strategy has good performance, such as shorter system delay, higher link utilization, stronger robustness of the system and so on.
