TD-SCDMA, one of the three main 3G mobile communication standards, is proposed and possessed of full intellectual rights by China. Its newest version is HSPA+(TDD), that is TD-HSPA+ for short, which adopts the popular multi-antenna technology. It is proved that much better performance can get in a mobile communication system within it. This paper investigated the multi-antenna technology in TD-HSPA+. At first, introduced the physical structure and the schedule related to the investigation; then, it introduced the basic principles of multi-antenna technology; using a new system level and link level separation method, and combining with the multi-user joint detect in TD-SCDMA, a new system level to link level interface based on the block liner equalizer for CDMA,TDD systems simulation was proposed, and a new system level simulation platform and related link level simulation platform were built; Through system simulation, it evaluated and analyzed the performance of several multi-antenna schemes in multiple service models and multiple scenarios; To deal with the beamforming error made by schedule delay and CQI prediction error made by interference changing, a new schedule scheme based on interference avoiding was proposed, which reduced the interference level, waken the effect of those two errors, improved the performance. Besides, the ITU channel model was used, which made it more convenient to compare with other investigations on MIMO systems.
