Design And Implementation Of Network Firewall In Symbian

With the rapid development in mobile Internet, mobile Internet has become one of the most important needs, and all operating systems for mobile phones of third-party networking software are more and more. As people to enjoy the convenience of the mobile Internet, at the same time, attacks to mobile terminals and other wireless devices in the network are also increasing rapidly. As been the largest market share, Symbian mobile phone operating system is been attacked most seriously. To make the mobile Internet more secure, we should strengthen the research on network firewall for the mobile phone as faced so many mobile Internet network threats.In this paper, combined with characteristics of Symbian, the design and implementation of firewall system is based on activities object and client-server mode. Firstly, this paper describes the development of the current mobile Internet and status of mobile network security, introduces the theory of core technologies used in system. After that paper analysis the requirement and introduces the development and operating environment, describes the overall system design. Then describes the design principles and implementation of each module in firewall, shows test cases and test results of the key modules in the system.Finally, after comprehensive testing, network firewall application on Symbian operation system which is designed in this paper has been operated in business.
