As the rapid development and wide implementation of P2P technology, security problems in P2P technology attract more and more attention. P2P technology has the characteristics of distribution and self-organization. These take facility for network management and resource location. At the same time, these also make P2P security issues more complex. Traditional security technologies such as IPsec, TLS(SSL), PKI, can be used to solve security problems in P2P. However, due to neglection of P2P characteristics, all these solutions can not achieve desired results though lots of cost were paid. This paper aims to design and implement a security data transmission solution based on PSC (Public Security Channel). Based on full analysis of P2P characteristic and security requirements of P2P, this solution modify the bootstrap and running progress of P2P node. At last, we achieve a manageable and controllable P2P network and data security transmission was guaranteed.Firstly, several typical security solutions were analyzed. We clarity the basis of them and proposed their shortcomings. Then we analyzed data security features in P2P network. Based on above two works, we propose a data transmission security solution based on PSC. The feasibility of this solution was analyzed carefully. We describe the establishment, join, refresh and quit progress of PSC. We compare the storage and computation cost between PSC and TLS when they were used for P2P route message security transmission. Numerical results validate the performance enhancement of our proposed algorithm. At last, PSC was deployed on BLESS system.
