With the development of computer technology and the wide popularization of network, virtual reality technology has also made a great progress in recent years. Simulation as an important part of VR, with its excellent three-dimensional expression and interaction, which is gradually applied in various fields of teaching experiments, has become an important part of computer-aided instruction and aroused wide attention. The subject constructed a simulation system about the micro-field of organic chemistry instruction , which according to the learning theory, media theory and constructivist learning theory. The simulation system help learners get rid of time and space constraints to explore the microscopic world and observe the movement of electronic. The simulation system simulated the whole process of the reaction mechanism about the"Bromine electrophilic addition reaction". This article mainly analysised the standards-based X3D modeling and general development process. The paper analysised the interactive mechanism and methods of X3D. The article also researched into cartoon technology, interaction technology in X3D. This paper did some exploratory study and application about the two methods such as SAI and EAI which used for construct X3D scene and hope to provide some reference for futher research. This paper also integrated the X3D scene with Sakai platform. Students can access to the resources by Campus Network. With the further improvement of network bandwidth, simulation based on X3D specification ,which has specific encoding, not only can simulate the abstract concept and principle, but also can be transported on the internet facilitate. Web-based multiplayer collaborative simulation has become the future direction of development. Great changes will be brought to education with the rapid development and widely popularization of virtual reality technology.
