With the growing up of Internet of Things technology, the application of Internet of Things will spread to all walks of life. The construction of a community management system that based on Internet of Things can improve the residential property management and intelligence level, and provide a comfortable, convenient and safe living environment for residents.Internet of Things'architecture can be divided into three layers: the application layer, the network layer and the perception layer. From the three layers, the thesis divides the community management system into four parts: property management system, intelligent control system, security system and communication network system, and describes their design and implementation process respectively. The property management system uses computer to supervise the residential area, it contains all the services within the district, such as property management, information management. The intelligent control system monitors the indoor equipment, and it includes computer technology, network communication technology and automatic control technology. The security system realizes the security of residents, equipment and residential, through human, technical and physical prevention. The communication network system which includes local area network and wide area network is the channel for the residential area to provide information service. The initial application indicates that through the integration of management center, the system manages the data within the district effectively and achieves the relevant functions. Meanwhile, the system provides standard technical interface, so it has good compatibility and scalability.
