Current, with the rapid development of Our country's economic construction, The government increased the investment of traffic areas year by year. China's highway traffic career is in very astonishing speed development, highway mileage total has leapt to the world's front, the rapid increase of highway mileage makes Highway route design quality and efficiency put forward higher request. Design of Three Dimension Highway Routes Selection Base on Digital Elevation Model is designed for further improving of the design efficiency of highway designer.First, this system reads terrain data from DXF data terrain files, design data structure of digital elevation model, according to terrain data design algorithm construct delaunay triangular network, processing the plane triangle of delaunay triangular network, finally form the digital elevation model. using OpenGL technology rendering digital elevation model, Form a realistic terrain.Second, do the route design on the digital elevation model, Get highway route design data points through click screen, according to data points Fitting highway center curve by use of cubic parameter spline curve, then obtain the elevation of highway center curve, adopt corresponding algorithm calculate the left and right edge line of highway center curve. Finish the establishment of highway three-dimensional model, drawing design highway, using OpenGL technology rendering highway model, form a realistic highway.Finally, using OpenGL technology achieve the visibility of highway route. Provide visualization visual effect for highway designer.
