Based on newspapers and television this two kinds of mass media the spread of the nonverbal symbols as the main research object, by using the methods of documentation and case study research methods, combining with psychology, sociology and communication, this paper analyses combining semiotics non-language symbol transmitting theoretical basis. Newspapers and television media selection of these two kinds of mass media non-language symbol transmitting elements, as the main object of study of the two kinds of media language symbols manifestation and the transmission characteristics are summarized and described.
