Application Of GIS In Electronic Commerce

As a popular business model, the electronic commerce plays an important role in the modern life, and its development has greatly changed the market and the consumer behavior, and is affecting the global economy. As an important application of electronic commerce, the online shopping system will play a leading role in the development of the future electronic commerce. The C2C online shopping system model can best reflect the advantages of the Internet. With the popularity of the Internet, the number of the online shoppers is growing rapidly and the application of C2C is appearing a rapid growth trend.In recent years, GIS is developing rapidly, and has become a fairly mature technology, its application is becoming more and more wide. WebGIS is a product of the application of the Internet technology in GIS, it makes the function of GIS extended through the Web. With the development of the computer and the network technology, people's awareness and usage of the electronic map are increasing quickly. At present, many daily life related service websites have embedded the electronic map function to provide the location search function and the related business information service, the electronic map has been unknowingly penetrated into all aspects of the people's production and life.Therefore, fully useing the advantages of electronic commerce and GIS, combining both of them, researching the application of GIS in electronic commerce will have great significance. In this paper, we probed the application of GIS in electronic commerce by constructing a C2C online shopping system which had the map service function. The shopping system was based on the B / S architecture, was realized by the JSP + JavaBean technology, used the ORACLE database as the background database and used the Mashup technology and the Google Maps API to integrate the Google Maps data source into the shopping system to realize the embedding of the GIS technology. This paper mainly completed the following work.First, in aspect of theory, deeply studied the development status of electronic commerce and GIS and the application status of GIS in electronic commerce, combined GIS and electronic commerce, and used the Mashup technology and the Google Maps API to integrate the Google Maps data source into the shopping system to realize the embedding of the GIS technology.Second, in aspect of technology, used the JSP + JavaBean technology to develop the online shopping system and used the Google Maps API to embed the Google Maps into the shopping system.Third, in aspect of system application, constructed a C2C online shopping system which had the map service function to probe the application of GIS in electronic commerce, realized the user management function module, the product browsing function module, the shopping cart function module, the order management function module, the electronic map service function module and etc.
