Self-adaptive User Interface Model With Behavior Prediction And Function Recommendation

With the rich of human-machine interaction design and improving the users' needs for quality of experience of their own, the researchers gradually pay more attention to mining the user information, services of personalized recommendation, interface architecture and so on. The users have to spend much time and energy finding the information their needed on OSFA (one-size-fits-all) user interfaces. The current challenges is not just in providing the services for users in any forms anytime or anywhere, but in how to provide appropriate services for user in an appropriate way at the right time. Thus the user hope their interfaces are intelligent interfaces with personalize layout, which can recognize users' behaviors and make prediction.Self-adaption interface means that the user interfaces readjust and improve itself in structure accord to the habits of users. The interfaces also forecast the users' next action and have function of services of personalized recommendation. This aimed to reduce inconveniences which may be caused by adjusting interface or service to beginners or users with bad computer skills and help and guide them to use the interface. Researching on how to design user interface to reach a better interaction effect, the main content of this paper is listed as follows:1. The paper elaborated the research background, the research significance, the innovation and the problems in user interface briefly and analyzed the users' behavior and its influence to interface. Then it presented the idea of self-adaption interface.2. Through catching the user of interface behavior and analyzing several important points of users' behavior, it can gain direction habits, operating habits, favor of position-sensing and other personalized information.3. This paper calculated users' operation sequence with statistics' associated matrix and forecasted the next action. It introduced current interface recommendations. 4. This paper analyzed the interface structure and made self-adapted rules accordingly for different type's structure. It designed and described to self-adaption process separately.5. This paper comprehensively introduced the found of user interface model. It divided model to user model and interface model. According to the fact, it designed the model structure and introduced the evaluating method.The creative products of this paper as follow:1. Proposed a new thinking of interface self-adaption technique;2. Gave four methods of partition of three interface areas and gained a foundation structures of self-adaption interface;3. Designed the algorithms which can forecast users' next action and described the core of algorithm of self-adaption interface.This paper improved the defect of original interface. And it reframed the interface in the sphere of theory and built corresponding interface model to provide theory and technical support for designing and setting up user interface.
