In recent years, with the people's increasing requirements for information locating, outdoor positioning relative has more mature, such as GPS,the indoor locating technology has been implemented more and more widely. The information locating used in airport or in shopping center can find out luggage or individual people easily and conveniently. In addition, more and more applications also need indoor locating information to accomplish their functions. Hardware resource systems which are based on the locating information can calculate the region of the users who wear personal data terminals, query the distribution map of available resources, and help users find the nearest facilities.Fingerprint-based positioning requires the collection of large amounts of data storage in advance, most current methods for Wi-Fi based indoor localization depend on surveys conducted by experts or skilled technicians. Some recent systems have incorporated surveying by users. Structuring localization systems "organically," however, introduces its own set of challenges:conveying uncertainty, determining when user input is actually required, and discounting erroneous and stale data. Through deployment of an organic location system in our nine-story building, which contains nearly 1,400 distinct spaces, we evaluate new algorithms for addressing these challenges. We describe the use of Voronoi regions for conveying uncertainty and reasoning about gaps in coverage, and a clustering method for identifying potentially erroneous user data. Our algorithms facilitate rapid coverage while maintaining positioning accuracy comparable to that achievable with survey-driven indoor deployments.Based on the indoor location the integral design a system, mobile client, back-end servers and wireless access terminal. Indoor positioning system architecture based on three. level system architecture is presented. Based on the existing location technology, indoor positioning technology, positioning systems, and summary and comparison of the location algorithm, this paper presents a three—level system architecture for the indoor positioning system. Interface between levels are standardized, system scalability is improved, a theoretical basis is developed and provided for indoor positioning systems development. Indoor positioning this analysis of the current number of possible location—based services, wireless local area network technology, and location-based services for the indoor environment to explore issues, to put forward a comprehensive study on indoor positioning solutions, including the signal strength of the collection, establishment and based on a sample database Statistical methods of positioning.
