English listening plays a very important role in English teaching, whose test is one of the most important parts in teaching listening. At the same time, it is a major means to check teaching achievement. For listening test, however, it is rather difficult to collect the materials in a tradition way. With rapid development of technology of network, it will be a must to build standard bank of listening test using computer technology, combined with flexibility, reliability, and speed of marking. What is more, it is quite convenient for people to preserve the papers. In this paper, Firstly, it analyzes the main flaws of traditional system of listening test and introduces Web platform based on RIA. Secondly, it attaches importance to RIA technology substantially, such as the implemental principle, methods and technology and discusses Flex Blaze DS and data communication between Flex and Server-side (Java). Then, according to the classic Theory, this paper states frame technology of Hibernate and analyses the design of persistence layer on the basis of Web development methods about J2EE architecture. Then it applies the Hibernate framework to the presentation layer utilized by Flex technology, the presentation layer utilized by Hibernate and the business layer utilized by Spring technology. What is more, this framework technology has stronger Flexibility, less loosely coupled system and better extensibility. Finally, the thesis gives us the vivid picture that the framework is applied in the English listening test. The practical results show that this new framework helps increase efficiency in exploration. Meanwhile, expansibility and maintainability of the system within this structure are also satisfactory.
