This study discusses the strengths and weaknesses on the practical application of three MAN, the PPPoE, Web Portal and 802.lx network access authentications through the analysis of the issues that emerge from the current situation and development of the MAN operations. After compared with the three access authentication in several different areas, a select access authentication model of multi-service carried MAN is proposed. The model selected by multi-service carried MAN for access authentication is 802.1x access authentication, and featuring with RADIUS authentication protocol. To improve the efficiency of authentication services and scalability, the RADIUS authentication server authentication service used were optimized, and with the separation of authentication and authorization services, also with the designing of train-encapsulating for resolving the concurrency problem. Finally, try to add a RADIUS service framework mechanism for audition services, audition services of the message passing mechanism, and one of the typical audition function to do the prototype implementation.It ultimately validate the feasibility of using the mechanism for audit services access the multi-service carried MAN in the use of the 802.1x authentication. Through analysis and experiments, this research provides a kind of theoretical and experiment basis for the development of AAA authentication services to AAAA.
