Study And Implementation Of Network Sharing Based On Android

The third generation mobile communication (3G) technology brings the mobile terminal users faster data transfer rate. The popularization of smart phones and PDA devices has brought more powerful computation ability and more convenient and fluent Internet experience to the users. Therefore, the mobile terminal is not only the communication network terminal, but also the Internet terminal, which spawns the development of mobile Internet.Since Apple launched the first iPhone in 2007, mobile terminals such as iPhone3G, iPhone3GS,iPhone4,iPad have been popular in the world. Meanwhile, companies as MOTOROLA, HTC, Samsung, etc. have launched a massive smart phones and tablet computers based on Android. These mobile devices on the market compared with early cell phones, PDA are that they all contain WiFi module. Similar with laptops, in the wireless Access Point coverage inside, they can connect to the Internet conveniently. But wireless AP coverage is limited, only in some office buildings, stores and coffee shops. It is not so convenient to access Internet when you are outdoor or on journey. Therefore, a mobile which can share network with other mobile devices is very necessary.This paper first analyzes the current development situation of the popular smart phone platform about network sharing, secondly describes Android platform system architecture, Android applications working mechanism and JNI technology, then studies the Android platform structure and module of the WiFi in detail. On this basis, we realize the function of network sharing on the Android platform under the command line. Finally we develop a good user experience and powerful network sharing application called MobileAP.By different environment and a variety of mobile equipment testing, MobileAP has obtained the good test results, which proves that it is the excellent mobile phone software.
