Research On Urban Ecotope Quality Data Visualization System Based On B/S Structure

Nowadays, data visualization technology is increasingly applied to information systems, which benefits users to apply programs more availably, and also makes the traditional data management more sufficient. Displaying intuitively the data by the image form, and unifies the humanity unique cognitive capacity, which helps the decision analysis a lot. Urban Ecotope Quality Data Visualization System in China is a set of application software that serves "Urban ecotope quality synthetic evaluation indicator system". It is designed to compiling through the massive urban ecotope qualitative data and the historical data front-end visualization, based on which we can get clearly understanding of the cities' past ecological environment conditions. It is also useful in draws up the pointed improvement measures on urban ecotope quality and to raise the city eco-environment control efficiency in the end.The research integrate many kinds of applied technologies, aiming at provide the one whole set of optimization plan to the users on city eco-environment quality evaluation result data visualization.Firstly, the research utilizes data bank technology with which realized the city ecotope rating result data management and maintenance. At present, the system has already input the data including Wuhan, Chongqing, and Zhuhai as well as Beijing Chaoyang District's measure results data.Secondly, the research takes advantage of JfreeChart open sources module which has offered the city ecotope quality rating result data browser end statistical graph demonstration function.Thirdly, the research combined the ArcGIS technology to manufacture electronic map based on different urban landuse ways and the ArcIMS9.3 software platform through which has realized the map data issue and sharing.Finally, as a model of specialized software system, Urban Ecotope Quality Data Visualization System not only meets the users' realistic need, but also further broadens the data visualization technology application scope, to some extent, promoting its values.
