With the rapid popularization of mobile phone and the continuous burgeoning of service industry around it, the security of mobile phone is gradually becoming the focus of attention. The conflict between increasing security threats and backwardness of security research is prominent. On one hand, the mobile phone virus is rising year by year, and its destructive power and influence are also on the increase. On the other hand, the study on mobile phone security is still on the initial stage. The research of mobile phone security has important scientific and practical significance.In order to design a highly-efficient scheme to confront the mobile phone viruses, the first step is to understand them adequately. Consequently, building scientific epidemic model of mobile phone virus and improving analysis techniques of mobile phone virus become important research subjects. In this paper, the research is mainly about epidemic model and analysis technique of mobile phone. The main contributions and innovations are as follows.(1) Analysis of the propagation characteristics of Bluetooth and SMS/MMS involved in hybrid spread mode, based on the preventive immunity and mutation, epidemic model of mobile phone virus for hybrid spread mode with preventive immunity and mutation (SEIR model) is proposed. And then we perform simulation analysis on SEIR model, discussing at length the important propagation parameters of SEIR model such as preventive immunity of mobile phone users, mutation of virus, immunity structure in SMS/MMS network and node average degree in Bluetooth network. Simulation results show that the model can simulate the spread process and features of mobile phone for hybrid spread model perfectly. Finally, based on analysis conclusions, some prevention and safety suggestions are put forward from various points of views, including mobile phone users, telecommunication operators, handset manufacturers and security maker.(2) Summarized the static characteristics of the existing mobile phone viruses and their abnormal behavior characteristics. According to current analysis techniques of viruses, we built automated analysis system of mobile phone virus. This system combines the detection technique and the analysis techniques, which can not only detect known viruses, but also analyze unknown viruses statically and dynamically. This paper discussed the system in detail about the overall objective, the deployment environment, system architecture, key techniques of abnormal behavior analysis, and scenarios.
