The Research Of Data Processing Of Network Traffic

Technology of Data processing network traffic is one of the most rapidly developmental topic in the field of information technology, and play an important role. Since the enrichment of Internet service, network application and the data type of network traffic, the scale of network traffic data increases exponentially, which bring problems to the network operation and management. To solve these problems depends on network traffic data processing in an effective and efficient way.Firstly, the thesis introduces the characteristics of network traffic, the concepts of data processing, and essential part of mass data processing. And based on the analysis of the overall network traffic data processing system, the paper pays attention to the research of data process software, analyzes the function and performance of database, and the performance optimization of relational database systems and SQL language.Secondly, the thesis designs and develops a file-based data processing software by C++ program, which complete some commonly operations such as filtering, sorting, join, merge, and transpose. The procedure and performance of these operations were detailed.Finally, the thesis compares the performance of file-based data processing software and SQL query in requirement of transpose of data file, and uses real network traffic data for testing. The experimental results show that, the efficiency of data processing software is number of times higher than SQL query when do the transpose action, and more stable.
