| China's wireless communication industry develop rapidly in recent years. And with the commercial deployment of 3G networks, wireless network's bandwidth has been improved and enhanced, that brought infinite space of development for mobile wireless data services, and also mobile wireless data services presents tremendous business opportunities and potential. In order to meet the requirements of new development in this fields, Operators must provide some appropriate and powerful business platforms. On the other hand, the wireless value-added services have also spawned a large of service provider groups. Operators must be able to provide some appropriate unified, opened platforms and interface standards for them.In connection with the emerging trends, In this paper the research team has studied and analyzed the old download platforms of China Mobile, then the team designed a new platforms for China Mobile.This article describes the project background of the new wireless download platform and the scope of this thesis. Then the paper introduced the Motorola's Mobile Application Server(MAS), the core product in the new wireless download service platform in the second chapter. After studying the old download system, the research team designed a new download service platform for China Mobile. Compared with the old download service platform, the new wireless download service platform has higher availability, higher stability, higher scalability, higher openness and higher integration.The thesis has finished the following parts: 1. Studied the problems of old download platform of China Mobile. and analyzed capability and capacity of the platform. At the end, the research team analyzed the requirement of the new wireless download service platform of China Mobile in detail.2. According to the requirements of new wireless download service platform, the research team designed a topology of the new system.3. Designed in detail some major function modules, business processes, billing, network security and interfaces with other system of China Mobile.4. Deployed and tested the new platform carefully. Delivered and ran it.5. Studied the scalability of the new platform.the scalability of the new platform can be described from three fields:the scalability of the platform, the scalability of logic and the scalability of the hardware of the platform. |
