With the rapid development of information technology, various enterprises have their own transformation, in order to get an advantageous position in the increasingly fierce competition in business. However, the transformation of information is completed in different periods, which makes the existence of a variety of heterogeneous software and hardware platform between Information Systems, and forms the heterogeneous data. An enterprise's multiple information systems of is not absolute isolation, even if the original design have not considering the correlation, part of data is used between these systems. Therefore, data synchronization demand still exists between Information Systems. Of course, between different enterprises have data sharing or synchronization needs. In addition, schools, hospitals and other some institution relying on information system in management, also have the same need. In order to solve the problem of data sharing, this paper studies the technology of heterogeneous database synchronization, and design and implement a common tool.This paper analyzes the characteristics of information systems, and studies the mainstream of heterogeneous database synchronous technology, and designes and implements data Synchronization tool between information systems, and puts forward an agreement of synchronization requirements for information systems, which is using XML description. The use of JAVA and XML these two of platform-independent technology can be easily realized data's communication and operation between heterogeneous platforms. In addition, this paper shields database'heterogeneity through the use of hibernate, so object-oriented approach can be used to operate the database without concern for the specific type of database management systems. This topic design and implement session security mechanism and access control in accordance with the characteristics of the security of information systems. The Data Synchronization tool that this paper designed and implemented is used for communication and Data Synchronism between the number of applications which include the charge control system, electrical system, quick change, GIS, network management system, etc;so these applications fully demonstrate the study the practicability and reliability.
