Photonic crystal fibers have controllable cross-sectional micro-structure and different characteristics compared with traditional fibers. It has complex refractive index distribution in cross section, containing different arrangement types of air holes, which size is comparable to the wavelength through the photonic crystal fiber. Light wave is transmitted in fiber core. It has such as endless single mode, high nonlinear, big effective mode area, high birefringence, special dispersion characteristics and so on. Based on the technology of photonic crystal fibers dispersion compensation and high nonlinear optical characteristics, photonic crystal fibers has very good dispersion characteristics and nonlinear characteristics, which are the key research at present. As size between macro and micro, clusters have many unique properties. The nature of nano clusters are closely relatively to the size and compositions, so we can choose suitable size and compositions to obtain required properties nano clusters materials. This paper are based on numerical methods, with two kind of micro-nano material as research object, and mainly study their structural characteristics and band-gap distribution, which has certain directive significances for new micro-nano structure.This paper mainly includes:(1) Using finite element method to analyze optical fiber mode and the transmission characteristics of photonic crystal fiber when the cross-sectional area is certain, also analyze the dispersion curves of migration direction, photonic crystal fiber zero dispersion point appears in y direction. Dispersion has linear change in at least 40nm bandwidth. This design of microstructure fiber provides certain theoretical reference.(2)According to the density functional theory, the primary principle method is used to calculate the semiconductor nano clusters GanN(n=1~8) andAl12X (X=P, As, Sb, Bi) balance geometry, energy and electrical properties.This article mainly research two kinds of semiconductor nano materials, discusses their structures and electronic properties, this study will provide some theoretical basis for photoelectron materials.
