Design And Implementation Of Knowledge-Based Gifts Recommendation System

Personalized recommendation system has been widely used in many fields, such as network products recommendation, music recommendation, movie recommendation, etc. Recommendation techniques include collaborative filtering, content filtering, knowledge discovery, etc. However, these recommendations do not fully consider the influences of the knowledge in recommended areas and the changes of interactions with users to the results.In view of the above problems, this paper proposed a recommendation method based on knowledge base for gift recommendation. First, knowledge base for gift is built by way of rule-based representation after a series of researches, then initialized by gift specialists manually, next ajusted according to similarity which is calculated on the basic information of gifts, and finally shown in the form of related gifts which are calculated out by statistics of user's view logs. AJAX technique is introduced to achieve the user interface in order to supply good user experience, and lucene, the full-text search engine toolkit is also used to construct index for the gifts information and design personalized search function in accordance with the user's log.This paper introduces the research background and recommendation system research status at home and abroad, introduces the main recommendation algorithm and the key technologies involved in the system, describes the system requirements analysis, describes the system design, analyze of the system in key issues and solutions, operates functional testing and performance testing.
