Research And Implementation Of The Eucalyptus Virtual Machine Management System

Eucalyptus is an open source implementation of Amazon EC2(Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud),and it is compatible with business service interface of EC2. Eucalyptus is designed to support cloud computing research and development of infrastructure. It is based on "Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)" and it provides a modular and open research and test platform which makes users can operate and control the virtual machine that is deployed in the physical resources.For users can visit the cloud platform,Eucalyptus provides a tool which is based on the command line.But the tool is not intuitive and the operation is inconvenient.So the research and implementation of a graphical Eucalyptus virtual machine management system is meaningful.The system uses GridSphere framework and realizes the virtual machine management of the underlying private Cloud platform of Eucalyptus. Systems management platform,on the one hand,makes the administrator can select the virtual machine type and quantity,monitor the running state of the virtual machine and terminate the virtual machine and so on;on the other hand,makes the ordinary user accesses virtual machine services platform and applies for the running virtual machine which is based on the virtual machine type and operating system type.At the same time,the system start timing.Combining the Eucalyptus framework and the GridSphere framework can expend the adventage of cloud computingd. Currently,through the actual operating the system,it proves that the system has well performance and the system can provide excellent services for users.
