Semantic Web ontology is a knowledge base to support the actual running of semantic Web, it formally defines the knowledge and the relationship between the knowledge which are widely acknowledged in a domain, the both are concretely expressed as the concept and the relationship between the concept which are widely acknowledged in a domain. How to store the semantic Web ontology is an important problem in semantic Web application research, because in a system which is based on ontology, the ontology storage method not only determines the design and the implementation but also directly influences overall performance and subsequent maintenance of the system.Currently, most researches focus on the semantic Web precise ontology storage, and the existing schemas all have shortcomings, only a few researches focus on the semantic Web rough ontology storage. The semantic Web rough ontology and the semantic Web precise ontology have differences in structure and character so that the effective methods of previous ontology storage become inapplicability. To design a high performance method suitable for semantic Web rough ontology is a problem worth discussing.In view of above questions, in this paper, the semantic Web rough ontology storage method by relational database is designed and realized, also, the semantic Web rough ontology storage method by rough relational database is discussed, which in order to find the appropriate method for semantic Web rough ontology storage.Firstly, the method of the semantic Web rough ontology storage is designed and realized by relational database. Jena is used for analyzing semantic Web rough ontology, including loading, preprocessing and importing; the RO mixed schema is put forward at the base of analyzing and extenting some schemas of semantic Web rough ontology storage method by relational database; the trigger and the index are created in order to realize the automatic update and the efficient query; the RO mixed schema performance is tested by an experiment whose result shows that the RO mixed schema is better than the vertical schema in performance. Secondly, the method of the semantic Web rough ontology storage is designed by rough relational database. Rough relational database is researched, including the definition, mathematical basis and data storage struture of rough relational database; information schema is used to store semantic Web rough ontology; ontology automatic update algorithm is designed to realize ontology insertion and remove; hamming distance is introduced to realize ontology high-efficient query by creating the index.
