Wireless sensor network(WSN)is a kind of resource-constrained, self-organized network, which consists of many tiny nodes, and they communicate with each other by radio.WSN is the integration of data collecting, transferring, convergence, and a new field of information technology. Grid integrates computing resource, storage resource, network resources software resource and information resource, which are widely distributed, to a logical super computer, which can provide integrated information application services for users. Just as an Internet user views a unified instance of content via the web, a grid user essentially sees a single, large virtual computer. Wired grid can be combined with wireless sensor network, called "sensor grid", so that grid can access the real physical information through WSN while WSN can take advantage of the computing capability and storage capability of grid.Grid resource discovery is one of the most important functions in the grid resource management. The existing resource discovery algorithm were mainly in environment of static resources, but sensors grid resource is dynamics and the resource node is energy limited. Based on the above reasons, this paper will put forward according to the characteristics of sensor grid one resource discovery mechanism, the main innovation work involves:(1) According to the characteristics of sensor, we proposes a three levels model of resource discovery, and in the model,we proposes a resource discovery algorithm base on chord-ring, it fully considers the node energy, trying to make the whole sensor grid nodes energy equilibrium and prolong the life cycle of sensor grid.(2) each node in sensor-grid were organized together by the way of wireless communication, so the node has the stronger characteristics of dynamic, the organization structure of sensor-node will change more frequently that affect the success rate of resource discovery, so it is necessary to design appropriate fault-tolerance to adapt this kind of situation, and to enhance the search of resource discovery success rate.(3) we chose Gridsim as the simulation system. And a series of experiments were designed and study the effect on the proposed resource discovery algorithm and the flooding algorithm. Then, we compare the simulation result with theoretical analysis.
