In recent years,public security organs in accordance with the "Golden Shield" requirements of Ministry of Public Security, carry out public security information technology actively. Ezhou City Public Security Bureau in order to meet the new period of public order situation, using information technology to target police, police active in the construction of information integrated application platform. The original model has a centralized database of information which is far from the needs of police information.In this case, the distributed database based on police information integrated application platform came into being.In a distributed database system, the data stored in the same network distributed on different nodes.How to Synchronization the database information of each node is the key to solve the problem.Unless all the node obtain the synchronized information in the database, distributed database may maintain consistency and integrity. If the data.is not synchronized,the police platform would have a negative impact. In the distributed database system, data synchronization is that we must first to solve.This paper describes the synchronization of distributed database systems and data relevant theories, and then focus on the SQL Server database replication technology, data warehouse ETL technology, XML technology and transaction processing. Synchronization mechanism in the new environment of network applications based on the realities of police, summed up the key issues requiring urgent solution.There are provincial and municipal levels of the solution for the problem.In the municipal solution to the embedded SQL Server replication mechanism, the innovative master-slave synchronization techniques proposed route, a copy of the original mechanism to be improved, because the large amount of data updates to solve the resulting problem of data inconsistency.Solution at the provincial level, the first detailed description of the data processing, and then with SQL Server database transaction processing mechanisms, such as stored procedures, triggers, and the relevant settings, job scheduling, data warehouse using ETL technology and core technology XML technology, to design a new data synchronization. Innovative new synchronization mechanism, a middle layer using as a data acquisition system, the data acquisition system to manipulate the affairs of SQL Server data warehouse ETL processing and technology to achieve incremental extraction of data and then stored into the data warehouse Finally, compression, transmission, decompression and other data processing. In the new phase of synchronized data upload mechanism, the first mapping of heterogeneous relational databases into XMLSchelma document, generated according to specifications of a unified XMLSchelma XML file to upload. Synchronization mechanism in the new data download stage, will receive the XML document updates the corresponding database information to complete the target database updates. This mechanism not only to achieve incremental extraction of data, but also effectively solve the problem of heterogeneous data synchronization.
