SSD (Solid State Disk) is a new kind of disk based on semiconductor memory chips. Compared to traditional mechanical disk, SSD achieved a fully electronic. SSD access speed with low energy consumption, high shock resistance and low heat. However, the semiconductor memory chip itself, which makes the existence of solid-state hard disk bad block management is unreasonable, the number of block erase block is not balanced and garbage collection efficiency is too low and so on. So, how to design a good SSD model, how to design efficient data storage management algorithms to manage the semiconductor chips has become the field of solid-state drive on the main points.This paper describes the principles and classification of semiconductor memories. An overview of the internal structure of Flash memory chips, electrical properties and related instruction process.Second, the focus of a solid state disk system hardware and software modeling. Respectively introduced a solid state disk storage system design requirements, SSD Solid State Disk hardware design model and software design models.Again, from a system perspective on the design of solid-state hard disk storage management model, a commonly used solid-state hard disk management algorithms, storage management architecture, address remapping, bad block management, garbage collection, static equilibrium loss, disk cache management within and a series of key technologies.Finally, the simulation mode test and the loss of two disks in a balanced strategy for cache replacement algorithm, simulation results show that the loss of equilibrium strategies can be effectively balanced chip block erase times, and thus significantly increase the service life of solid-state hard drive. Within the cache disk cache hit rate algorithm to meet needs.
