The product selling system designed in this thesis is a electronic commerce website based on the virtual reality technique. In the design of the system, the major techniques employed are JPS on the server's end, struts in Java, and website programming language and database.JSP(Java Server Page)is a scripting language with inserted Java code on the server's end—HTML or XML. As a quick and effective tool in developing web dynamic website, it has powerful and special functions in constructing dynamic website. JSP technique is efficient, secure, stable and maintainable, and JSP + Servlet + Struts+database is becoming the major technique in developing e-commerce platform. With the involvement of China with the world, JSP will become the first choice in website development.Virtual reality technique simulates and reproduces the human vision, hearing and acting in natural environment to provide the sense of being personally on the scene through the representation of human social behaviors in three-dimension space simultaneously. VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language), as the modeling language in constructing and changing three-dimension world on WAN, makes it convenient to express various information, including web-related information, in the interactive three-dimension space, which can be played on different platforms, from that of different types of computers to various kinds of terminal workstations. Virtual reality interactive roaming system refers to the simulation and reproduction of the real environment of human society. When roaming in the virtual environment, web users interact with the virtual environment in a certain way so that the real human social life can be understood through virtual environment.The web shopping system based on JSP technique is a product selling system, the basic goal of which is to provide the essential e-commerce functions and to attract more web users with its simple and easy operation. As a result, the system can not only display the products, but also provide shopping cart. The web users can put the products they like in the cart and replace the ones they don't like, just as shopping in the real supermarket. The users can also open a online shop. And the system administrator can inquire and alter the information about users and products.Product online selling system has two aspects of functions—client functions and administrator functions. client functions:1. Clients register to get the qualification to log in, purchase and sell products.2. Browse the newest products, and check the latest product information in online shops.3.
