Title: Research on Theories and Methods for Array Signal Processing based on S-transform.Major:Control Theory and Control EngineeringSupervisor:Professor Shi YaowuIn many practical applications, such as: communications, radar, sonar, and geological exploration, the signal direction of arrival estimation–Array Signal Processing technology is an important research direction. Therefore researching and developing improved Array Signal Processing methods for both the development of the theory or its practical applications are of great significance and value. In recent years, many scholars researched on the time-frequency analysis and processing methods, developed a variety of methods of the time-frequency analysis and processing, one of them is S transform, it has been used in seismic exploration. This thesis introduced the time-frequency analysis methods of S transform into the field of Array Signal Processing technology and gave how to realize it.The following information is the specific research of this thesis:1. Starting from the limitations of Fourier transform and to carry out some improvements, leads to non-stationary signals is analyzed with S transform.. Algorithm programmed one and two dimensional S transform.2. The thesis used the S-transform to analyze the hopping signals and cross-chirp signals. In the time-frequency domain, the thesis compared short time Fourier transform, wavelet transform, Wigner-Ville distribution and the S-transform's performance in analyzing hopping signals and cross-chirp signals.3. The hopping signals and cross-chirp signals in azimuth estimation is researched. The thesis estimated azimuth with MUSIC, Esprit methods based on S-transform.4. The two-dimensional array signal azimuth and elevation estimation is researched. Using 2D-Music and 2D-esprit method based on S-transform to estimates the azimuth and elevation of array signal.
