Electromagnetic compatibility(EMC)in modern electrical engineering has become more and more important to the designers and the researchers with the wide application of all kinds of electronic circuits and power electronics technologies. In EMC design to equipment and system, metallic enclosure is widely used to shield from EMI.Because of the needs for such various reasons as input and output connections, ventilation panels, etc, the apertures or slots inevitably exist on the conducting shield. These apertures or slots are the main factor to influence the shielding performance of system. So understanding the intensity and the feature of the electromagnetic field produced by scattering and transmitting through the apertures is very important for EMC design, that is,the reasonable EMC forecasting must be done before EMC design.High-frequency electromagnetic interference on the impact of equipment becomes increasingly prominent, the modeling and simulation of cavity narrow hole under different electromagnetic waves irradiation direction and polarization are completed. Comprehensive analysis and study the law of electric field strength in the body cavity with the variation of wave frequency. The effect of shielding box aperture size, shape, number of holes and radiation wave source to coupling characteristics of electronic equipment are studied. By analyzing and comparing the results, proposed some measures and recommendations can reduce electromagnetic interference. Results of these studies provide an important basis for conductor chassis and system design of electromagnetic compatibility.
