On The Application Value And Approach Of Searching Data In The Research Of Internet Communication

This article tries to demonstrate the application value and approach of searching data in the research of Internet Communication. The author has used and has studied the search engine for a long time. Meanwhile the preparing work of the research has lasted for two years. The purpose of the study is to analyze the features, types and ways of the searching data so as to discuss the feasibility and potential applications of searching data in the study of Internet Communication. The thesis explored the values of internet Audience Study, researching Communication Effect, monitoring and guiding public opinion in the network. The paper discussed feasibility of observing method, literature method, content analysis method etc in the research of Internet Communication.The thesis firstly defines the concept of searching data, fully discusses the features, characteristics and ways of researching data and proved the values of searching data in studying of network propagation by using the observing method, qualitative method, case study method, literature method etc and basing the theory of"Uses and Gratifications". Secondly according to network user's habits of getting and observing media and information on the internet, the writer summarizes a pattern of"two levels of Uses and Gratifications". Finally through the specific research practice, this article gives reference and inspiration in research design and practice procedure in the field of Internet Communication.The author discovers that searching data has some specific features, such as being an easy and efficiency way to get the data, and having less cost. Searching data has important values in the study of network subscriber, Internet Communication effect, and monitoring and guiding the public opinion on the internet. The author concludes that searching data is a significant data resource and has obvious good characteristics for the researcher. If integrating other research methods with searching data method, we may get more achievements.
