Research On The Optimization Programme Of IP MAN Of Shanxi Unicom

Shaanxi Unicom broadband IP network and MAN had been basically constructed. The fulfillment of this project weight greatly in increasing Shaanxi Unicom's competativeness in broadband market, developing new value-added points and fully promoting the informative construction in Shaanxi. At this stage, furthering the engineering construction of the network in 2008, putting into more effort into the construction and optimization of its Broadband Metropolitan Area Network, Shaanxi Unicom has been endeavor to overcome its shortcomings in network performance and function, to get rid of potential malfunction and to achieve the smooth connection and communication between its customers. For this aim, Shaanxi Unicom gradually implemented its measures to adjust the structure of the network, to expand the capacity of the equipment, to optimize the performance of the routes, and to achieve the integration of QoS, technique and equipments so as to make sure that Broadband Metropolitan Area Network could not only provide traditional Internet service, but also become a platform which could offer various services such as the QoS video services, broadcast services and two-level. To begin with, the demand of Shaanxi Unicom broadband operation and the problems of present network were introduced as the background information for the optimization and expansion of Broadband IP Metropolitan Area Network. In the second chapter, basic techniques and development trend of broadband metropolitan area network have been introduced while several network schemes analyzed and contrasted. The key point of the third chapter is to comprehensively introduce the optimization and expansion of Shaanxi broadband metropolitan area.In the constructive process of Shaanxi Unicom broadband IP network and MAN,due to network protocol logic structure, complicated parameter configuration and other reasons, there were many problems in the network. Especially when many ADSL/VDSL and FTTX+LAN users were connected to the broadband IP network access layer, broadband applications were provided in big amount, many problems need to be solved in short time emerged in the broadband IP network. Under this situation, in the article I completely analysis and state the problems existing in Shaanxi Unicom broadband IPnetwork, its solutions and construction scheme;research and analysis the provincial MAN proposal.
